The range of games that we are able to play... well... range from the games that blazed the trail - Dungeons and Dragons, Boot Hill, Top Secret S/I. Up to all your modern games, DnD 3rd Edition (why buy the same game over and over?), Aces and Eights, Spycraft, among a host of others! Not to mention so many games in between that shaking a stick isn't enuff to make the pile of games feel the least bit threatened.
We are always looking for a few good gamers. Seeing that we go to the Origins Gaming Convention every year, we are always looking for new members to join the group to make the trip all the more fun. We also wouldn't mind possibly starting up an online game... if we are convinced of player dedication. Let's face it, running multiple campaigns can just drain the life right out of you. We will bend over backwards for our loyal gamers, tho.
We have different pages for just about everything.
We are most proud of our Dungeons and Dragons page which is a tribute to what we do best. It will eventually house a campaign world that will be assembled by us and used for all of our adventures that are run at Origins and any other convention. The longer we work on it... the more detailed it will get, and trust me... we ARE thorough!! For the moment, I will leave you with this little page and will add things as we get them.
We also have, what we call the Games Shelf , where we talk about the full breadth and width of the games we play. It won't start out as much, but since we have played a massive number of games between all of us, I thought it might be nice to give you a little run down on what we thought about them? What gives a group like TV enuff "stroke" to be able to critique games confidently. Well, just between our top 3 GMs, we have over 75 years of gaming experience. Yes, you heard me right... I didn't stutter... OVER 75 years between 3 of us. Just to make you all feel a little better... the 3 of us have gamed together since '89. Can you do the math?
We then have our favorite page... the Soap Box. As you may have guessed, it is where we have a blog or 2 and we regularly blow off a little steam by ranting about something. I'd like to say that it will be gaming oriented, but I can't make that promise. ALL of our members are VERY opinionated, and self control is hard to come by when it is something that they are passionate about.
There is also a News page that will keep you up to date with the current things that Terminal Velocity is up to. Anything from us running at a small gaming Con, to updating what we are doing at Origins, to... well... whatever we think is news worthy.
We like to help out our members and our visitors as much as possible by adding a links page to reference some of the games that we play. These are just some of the sites that we have collected over the years and we try to keep them as current as possible. We also have links to other game sites that you can check with us to see if we have a link that you could use. You'd be surprised at the sheer number of links and games covered!
